How to upload and transcribe audio or video

Everything in AudioScribe starts with a recording. Upload almost any audio or video file — meetings, interviews, lectures, calls, voice memos — and we turn it into a transcript you can read, search, and ask questions about.

Steps

1. Open your workspace and go to the Conversations page.
2. Click Import. The upload dialog opens.
3. Drag and drop your file into the dialog, or click browse files to pick one from your computer. Audio and video formats are both supported.
4. That's it — the upload starts automatically. Your file appears in the Conversations list while it processes.
5. Open the conversation when it's ready. You'll get the full transcript with every word, speakers separated automatically, and an AI summary alongside.

Tip: Video files work just like audio — the transcript stays synced to the video, so clicking anywhere in the text jumps playback to that exact moment.
