How to ask AI questions about a conversation

Instead of re-reading (or re-listening to) a whole conversation, just ask. AI Chat answers questions about any transcript — action items, decisions, who said what — with answers grounded in the conversation itself, not made up.

Steps

1. Open the conversation you want to ask about.
2. Click the AI Chat tab at the top of the transcript (next to Transcript and Summary).
3. Type your question — for example, "What are the action items from this call?" — and press Enter.
4. Read the answer. It's drawn from what was actually said in this conversation, so you can trust it as a summary of the discussion.
5. Keep asking. Follow-ups work like a normal chat: "What did the customer say about pricing?", "What did we promise to send over?", "Summarize this in three bullets."

Tip: AI Chat is the fastest way to write follow-up emails — ask for the key decisions and next steps, then paste them straight into your message.
