How to use the speaker Timeline

Every conversation includes a Timeline — a visual map of who spoke and when. It shows each speaker's share of the conversation at a glance, which is perfect for reviewing interviews, meetings, and calls where balance matters.

Steps

  1. Open the conversation. The right-hand panel shows the Timeline tab (next to Comments and About).
  2. Read the speaker rows. Each speaker gets a row of colored segments showing exactly when they spoke across the recording, plus their share of the conversation and total talk time — for example 43% · 2m 10s.
  3. Press a speaker's play button to listen to that speaker. It's an easy way to review just one voice — say, the customer's answers in a discovery call.
  4. Use it with real names. Once you rename the speakers, the timeline updates too, so the map reads like the room: Maya 44%, Tom 29%, Priya 17%.

Tip: A quick glance at the timeline tells you if one person dominated a meeting — useful for coaching sales calls and keeping interviews balanced.
