How to reassign a few words to the right speaker

AudioScribe works out who said what automatically, but on a busy call a few words at the edge of a turn can land on the wrong speaker — a quick "Yeah" or the start of someone's reply. You can fix just those words without touching anyone's name.

This is different from renaming a speaker: renaming changes a speaker's label everywhere at once, while this moves a specific selection to a different speaker.

Steps

1. Open the conversation and find the words that are on the wrong speaker.
2. Select the text — click and drag across just the words you want to move.
3. In the popup that appears, click Speaker.
4. Choose the correct speaker from the Select Speaker list (or type a name to find them).
5. That's it — only the selected words move to that speaker, and the speaker timeline updates to match.

Tip: Keep the selection tight — just the words that are wrong. Everything you don't select stays exactly where it is.
