Transcribe Your Google Meet Recordings
Upload a Google Meet recording and get an accurate, speaker-labeled transcript in seconds — then chat with it and pull out action items. No bot joins your call, no signup to start.
How it works
Find your Meet recording
If the meeting was recorded, Google Meet saves it as an .mp4 in the organizer's Google Drive, in the Meet Recordings folder. Download it from there — a screen recording of the call in a supported format like MP4 or WebM works too.
Upload it here
Drop the file in or click to browse. The first 5 minutes are free, with no signup.
Read, chat, or export
Get a speaker-labeled transcript you can read, copy, or download — and ask our AI for a summary and action items.

Frequently asked questions
Do you join or record my Google Meet call?
No. AudioScribe never joins your meetings — you upload a recording you already made, and we transcribe it. Nothing is captured live.
Meet didn't give me a transcript — can I still get one?
Yes. Whether Meet records or transcribes a meeting depends on your Google Workspace or Google One plan and how the meeting was set up. If you have a recording of the call — even a screen recording in a supported format like MP4 or WebM — upload it here for a speaker-labeled transcript. The first 5 minutes are free with no signup, and accounts unlock longer files.
Where do I find my Google Meet recording?
Recorded meetings are saved to the meeting organizer's Google Drive, in a folder called Meet Recordings, as an .mp4 file. The organizer also gets an email link to the recording. Download the file and upload it here.
Does it label who said what?
Yes — the transcript is automatically split by speaker, so each person's part is clearly separated on a speaker timeline.
Is my recording stored anywhere?
Files you upload with the free tool on this page are sent for transcription and are not retained on our servers. If you create an account, your files and transcripts are saved to your library so you can come back to them.
Need your full meeting?
A free account unlocks 25-minute recordings, AI summaries and action items, built-in chat with your transcript, and export to TXT, SRT, and VTT.
