How to manage your email notifications

Transcription runs in the background, so by default we email you when a file is ready. If you'd rather not get those emails, you can turn them off in Settings — the change saves instantly.

Steps

1. Go to Settings and open the Profile page (under My Account).
2. Find the Email Preferences section.
3. Choose your preference:
   • Notify me whenever a file finishes processing — get an email each time a transcript is ready.
   • Do not notify me — no processing emails.
4. That's it. Your choice saves right away — no Save button needed.

Tip: This setting only controls the "your file is ready" emails. On the same page you'll also find Browser Notifications, which can alert you in your browser when a transcription finishes.
