How to delete a transcript

Need to clear out a transcript you no longer need? You can delete any conversation in a couple of clicks. Because deleting can't be undone, AudioScribe asks you to confirm first.

Steps

1. Open your conversations. Click Conversations (or My Conversations) in the left sidebar to see your list.
2. Open the ⋮ menu. On the conversation you want to remove, click the ⋮ (more options) icon on the right of its row.
3. Choose Delete. In the menu — alongside the download options — click Delete.
4. Confirm. A "Delete Recording" box asks "Are you sure you want to delete this recording?" Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
5. Done. The conversation drops off your list right away, and you'll see a "File Deleted" confirmation.

Heads up: There's no in-app undo once you delete a conversation, so if you might want it later, export it first (DOCX, PDF, SRT, or VTT) before you delete.
