Delete Your AudioScribe Account

You can delete your AudioScribe account — and all the data associated with it — at any time, directly from our apps. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how to reach us if you need help.

How to delete your account

In the AudioScribe mobile app (Android or iOS)

1. Open AudioScribe and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Follow the confirmation steps (you'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm).

On the web

1. Sign in at app.audioscribe.io.
2. Open your account settings and choose Delete Account.

What gets deleted

Account deletion takes effect immediately and can't be undone. When you delete your account:

• Your subscription is canceled.
• All your uploaded and recorded media files are deleted.
• All your transcripts, summaries, and AI chat history are deleted.
• All your folders and workspaces are deleted.
• Your account and profile information are deleted.

Backups containing your data are purged on a rolling basis within 30 days. We may retain limited billing records where required by law (for example, tax and accounting requirements).

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual recordings and their transcripts at any time from the app — swipe a recording in your Library and confirm, or use the delete option in the transcript view. Deleted recordings are removed from our systems permanently shortly afterwards.
